Hatebreed’s debut album Satisfaction is the Death of Desire was released nearly twenty years ago, in November 1997. This classic album is known to have defined the combination of hardcore and metal for a generation the same way Slayer had in 1986 with Reign in Blood. Five years later, the band unleashed their second album, Perseverance in 2002. With that said, the band will embark a North American tour towards the end of the year in celebration of these classic albums.

Support for the tour is confirmed and will be revealed in early September. The trek kicks off on October 26th in Houston Texas and concludes on December 9th in Sayreville, NJ. Tickets go on sale this Friday (25th) and you can find both general and VIP packages on the band’s website.

Frontman Jamey Jasta commented:

“Sometimes it’s good to look back just to see how far you’ve come. There’s about four-five songs off of Satisfaction Is the Death of Desire and about six or seven off of Perseverance that we rarely play, so we’ve hit the rehearsal room and dusted off a killer batch of songs and deep cuts that we’ll blast your eardrums with this fall. Come celebrate not one but two anniversaries with us!”
