How is Robb Flynn of Machine Head doing on tour? Depends

Posted by on June 1, 2015

It can’t be said that Machine Head frontman Robb Flynn isn’t loyal to his fans. We already knew that the band’s South American tour was somewhat in jeopardy after he needed to get gallbladder surgery just two weeks prior. He seemed determined to soldier on, and indeed, the tour has gone on without a hitch. Unfortunately, however, medical problems keep happening to Flynn, and while many would be embarrassed to talk about their medical conditions, Flynn isn’t one of them.

Flynn appears to have contracted Montezuma’s Revenge while on tour in South America. Basically, that means he’s pooping a lot. Instead of cancelling shows and not talking about it, Flynn is wearing adult diapers and playing the shows anyway. And even better (or worse), he’s modeling the latest in dipaers via his Instagram page. Apparently, he’s got a good sense of humor about the whole thing, as evidenced by the hashtags. Having contracted this last year, we can assure you that there’s nothing funny about it, so hats off to Flynn for letting freedom ring with a blast of another kind. Also, if you’re in South America, you might want to pass on the after-show hang with Flynn.
