It’s Official: System Of A Down Announce U.S. Headlining Dates

About two weeks ago, our friends at MetalSucks gave us a heads up that System Of A Down were planning to perform a handful of U.S. dates this coming may, even leaking expected dates. Well now it’s official: System Of A Down will indeed be performing a mini headlining tour this coming May before heading off to Europe for a string of festival dates. They’ve also confirmed that gypsy punkers Gogol Bordello will serve as openers. But here’s the bad news…

While most of MetalSucks’ leaked dates were accurate, SOAD will not be playing in Boston or New York City on either May 18 or 19. So unless the recently reunited band plans to add more dates, System Of A Down will not be playing the East Coast in May. Sure, they’ll probably eventually come East at some point (maybe as soon as the end of the Summer), but I’m sure most East Coast fans will agree with me when I say “BUT I WANT TO SEE THEM NOW!!!” Haven’t we waited long enough?!

Oh well, guess we’ll just have to be a little more patient…You can stay updated with more SOAD news at their newly launched website, while you can check out the dates and on-sale/ticket information below:
