Korn_TheParadigmShift_CoverWe’ve heard songs and snippets from Korn’s new album, The Paradigm Shift. Now, a few days in advance of its release, fans can hear the album in its entirety online.

Thanks to Pandora Premieres, Korn’s first album with Brian “Head” Welch since 2003 is streaming online from start to finish. We’re still giving it a full listen ourselves. But the first two songs we’ve heard from the album give a good indicator for the rest of the album: while some songs (like “Love & Meth”) are somewhat heavy, the album over all is a little overly polished like “Never Never.” In short, fans who stopped listening to Korn after Follow The Leader won’t be coming back, but fans who’ve stuck with them will be pleased. The Paradigm Shift officially drops on October 8 via Prospect Park/Caroline Records.

In other Korn related news, an opener for their upcoming Night Of The Living Dreads tour with Rob Zombie has been announced. None other than Joey Jordison’s Scar The Martyr will be appearing on the tour. It’s safe to say that this was the “big tour” the Slipknot drummer was hinting at when he spoke to us last month. Not only is this a major grab for Scar The Martyr, but also marks a semi-reunion for Jordison (who toured as Korn’s live drummer in 2007 and played in Zombie’s band in 2010). Scar The Martyr is expected to appear on the entire run with Korn and Rob Zombie.
