As you may all know by now, we love Kvelertak. And we mean LOVE. That’s why we’re stoked that the Norwegian black metal/punk group have confirmed a string of U.S. dates to coincide with this year’s CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival in New York City.

While they’ll be doing a handful of dates across the country, Kvelertak have some big plans for CMJ. First up, they’ll be headlining Metal Sucks, Metal Injection, and 1000 Knives’ CMJ showcase on October 21 at Europa in Brooklyn, NY. More bands are expected to be announced for the showcase. Tickets are only $15 and can be purchased at TicketWeb.com.

Next, Kvelertak will be playing the Rocks Off Concert Cruise series aboard The Jewel in New York City (presented by Rocks Off, Brooklyn Vegan, And CMJ) on October 22. That’s right, Kvelertak will be playing ON A BOAT!! Tickets are only $20 ($25 on the day of) and can also be purchased at TicketWeb.com. Unlike Kvelertak’s other CMJ show, though, this one is 21+ only.

Two chances to see Kvelertak in NYC in one weekend?! We cannot wait! But have no fear if you can’t make it to the Big Apple. Check out the entire rundown of Kvelertak’s upcoming mini U.S. tour after the jump. And it all comes just in time for the band’s limited-edition, deluxe CD/DVD re-issue of their debut album. The reissue comes out on September 27 and can be pre-ordered online.
