Touring

Well, that didn’t take long. Amid joyous news that Randy Blythe is currently on his way back to the United States after being released from a Prague prison, comes word that the band will once again be playing Slipknot’s Knotfest. The band had initially pulled out of the dates, which will take place on August 17th in Council Bluffs, Iowa and August 18th in Somerset, Wisconsin. There’s no word on whether or not Machine Head, who had initially replaced them, will still be playing. [UPDATE: they are. Knotfest is even better now!]

In other Lamb of God news, it looks like they’ll now be touring the States starting October 26. No word on openers, cities or other dates yet, but if that tour date is set in stone, they’ll probably be announcing the full tour dates shortly. The band’s publicist says that Randy will be making a public statement discussing his time in Prague and thanking fans for their support sometime in the next week.
