Rumors and Gossip, Touring

The beginning of 2012 is already heating up with some awesome tours. And it looks like we can add two major bills to an already impressive touring season.

First, Machine Head will be embarking on a headlining tour with Suicide Silence, Darkest Hour, and Rise To Remain. Though an official announcement regarding the tour is expected to be made soon, a few dates have already slipped out, including the following:

2/6 Norfolk, VA @ The Norva

2/8 Atlanta, GA @ Masquerade

2/18 San Francisco, CA @ The Warfield

Next up, there have been rumors around the web saying that Lamb Of God will be playing at least a few shows with The Acacia Strain. The only date that’s been leaked so far is for the Irving Plaza in New York City on January 24. It’s possible that this could be a one off show, considering that January 24 is the release date for Lamb Of God’s new album Resolution. We’ll most likely know for sure next week, though, as the band is expected to make an announcement regarding touring on November 15 (next Tuesday).

Both tours sound pretty awesome. However, we bet we’re not the only ones who wish that Machine Head and Lamb Of God were on the same bill. Oh well, maybe some other time.
