mastoclutchBack in 2003 when Mastodon were still touring in support of their first album Remission, they toured with Clutch, exposing them to what was at the time, some of the largest crowds they’d played in front of. When Leviathan was released in 2004, Clutch’s Neil Fallon lent his lungs to “Blood and Thunder.” 12 years later, Mastodon are returning the favor, and have announced a Spring tour in which Clutch will co-headline with them. The “Missing Link Tour” will also feature Graveyard and Big Business trading off as openers. While both bands will be playing full sets, Mastodon will be closing the majority of the shows, with Clutch closing in Vancouver, Pittsburgh, Bethlehem PA, Baltimore, and Columbus, Ohio.

Here’s what Clutch drummer Jean-Paul Gaster said about the tour:

We are very much looking forward to our US tour with our friends in Mastodon. We always enjoy playing live but when we have the opportunity to share the stage with a band as inspiring as Mastodon we know each evening will be that much more special. See ya out there!”

Big Business will be opening from the beginning of the tour from April 16th to Appril 28th, with Graveyard playing the remaining dates. Here’s where you can catch the tour:
