Touring

Yup, it’s been 20 years since the release of Countdown To Extinction. And just like how they celebrated the anniversary of Rust In Piece, Megadeth will be performing the entire 1992 album in its entirety on tour.

Megadeth have actually started to perform Countdown To Extinction overseas. However, the band has now announced plans to perform the album on a North American tour this coming November and December. The tour will come just in time for the release of Countdown To Extinction remastered and expanded 20th anniversary edition (to be released on November 6 via EMI/Capitol Records). As if hearing the album performed in its entirety wasn’t enough to get your interest, support on the trek will come from Kyng.

Pre-sale for the Megadeth Cyber Army begins September 12, while the public sale starts on September 14. Thankfully, the tour will begin right after the election, so hopefully Dave Mustaine will tone down the batshit crazy rhetoric he’s been spewing lately. Check out a complete rundown of dates announced so far after the jump.
