Earlier this week, Abysmal Dawn/ Bereft’s Charles Elliott was confirmed as the first singer set to appear on the Death To All Tour. And today, the Death tribute tour announced Obscura guitarist/singer Steffen Kummerer as the bill’s second vocalist.

Kummerer had the following to say about his participation in the tour that’s recognizing the music of Chuck Schuldiner:

“It was a pleasure to get the invitation to play all of those timeless classics as a tribute to Chuck and his work. To be honest, I wasn’t sure if it was a good idea at all to get this project running, due to my respect for the past. The band Death is gone and will never come back, that is the truth. These shows are a nice way to show tribute to the band and their previous work and help musicians via Sweet Relief. In the end, a good thing and definitely worth visiting one or two shows. I am glad to be involved and be part of this idea to bring this music back on stage. Let the metal flow.”

We were already excited about this tour when we heard that former Death members like Gene Hoglan, Paul Masvidal, Sean Reinert, and Steve DiGiorgio were onboard. But adding frontmen like Kummerer and Elliott is definitely an added bonus. Plus, there’s likely even more singers and special guests still left to be announced.

While more details regarding special guests and on-sale dates are still to come, you can check out rundown of dates/cities for Death To All after the jump.
