0Shining (the Norwayone, not the Swedish one) has announced they will tour the U.S. and Canada, even after a few years of false hopes when not even winning repeated grants to tour the U.S. brought them to American soil.

The Norwegian band won a grant in 2010 for the equivalent of $150,000 U.S. dollars and another in 2012 for $180,000 U.S. dollarsm from which neither resulted in a U.S. tour. American fans did get a 2011 performance at SXSW, but no tour had been initiated until now.

While the U.S. leg of their European and North American tour only includes eight American dates, it’s more than fans have gotten before, so no one seems to be complaining. The tour is set to kick off September 17th in Brooklyn.
