Until Your Car Stops

scion[1]Oh, Scion. For a car company, you sure have your finger on the pulse of what discriminating metalheads want to hear. It’s just been announced that awesome now-reunited post-hardcore bands Cave-In and Coalesce will be playing free Scion-presented shows in Atlanta and Los Angeles. As if Atlanta isn’t lucky enough to have gotten the Scion Rock Fest earlier this year, Coalesce, who played the Fest, will be returning there on October 7 with Cave-In, whose Planets of Old 12″ is a great return to form. The two bands will be playing the following night at the Knitting Factory. And to get in, all you have to do is RSVP. Speaking of Cave-In, Planets of Old will be issued as a CD EP early next year.
