It looks like one of the first things Tim Lambesis did once he made bail was move forward with plans for the successfully crowd-funded third Austrian Death Machine album. A statement from “Ahhnold” popped up on the project’s Facebook page yesterday stating that the project is moving forward, despite the fact that the As I Lay Dying singer is still facing charges that he attempted to hire a hitman to kill his wife… which kind of sounds like something out of a Schwarzenegger movie, when you think about it.

UPDATE!!! Neaaaahhh!!!

Tim finished all of his parts back before he went on tour in Asia. He was just waiting for me to do my parts and put together the finishing touches on the mix of the album. I’m working on that this starting this week now that I have the files. The CD should be done soon and then we’ll start planning to manufacture.

The project was seeking $63,000 and ultimately brought in over $78,000. The forthcoming album features a slew of guest musicians, including members of The Faceless, God Forbid, Allegaeon, Impending Doom, Bleeding Through, and Carnifex. Currently, Lambesis is on bail, but is expected to reappear in court later this month. He has pled not guilty to the charges brought against him.
