Devin Townsend claimed that, following his very successful crowdfunding campaign, not only would the extra money be used to record the long awaited Ziltoid 2, but that it would be a double album: one from Ziltoid and one from The Devin Townsend Project. In a post on Facebook, Townsend explained the concept a little bit more and posted a list of tentative track titles for both albums:

Yeeessssss! Z2 is starting to come together! The theme of the double album is Ziltoid versus the DTP, with both getting their own album. Here are the tentative song titles!
