It’s official! The Dillinger Escape Plan is back in the studio. A couple weeks ago, we found out the upcoming album would be weirder and darker– as guitarist Ben Weinman called it.

Yesterday Weinman posted a picture of drummer Billy Rymer in the studio, confirming a new album is in the works.  We’ve been waiting for a follow-up to 2013’s One of Us is the Killer, and we can only hope it’ll be just as good.

In the meantime, if you’re looking for a little more Benjamin Weinman, don’t fret, because Giraffe Tongue Orchestra, which also includes members of Mastodon and Alice In Chains, is coming out sometime soon.
