North Carolina tech-metalers Between the Buried and Me are releasing, Future Sequence: Live at Fidelitorium, a Blu-Ray / DVD live performance of the band playing The Parallax II: Future Sequence in the studio. Due out September 30th, the performance will feature accompaniment from tenor saxophone, flute, tuba, glockenspiel, and more, plus there’ll be interviews with each band member.

Vocalist Tommy Rogers spoke about the upcoming release:

“In this age we live in you can watch us play any of our songs live online. So we wanted to give our fans something a little different…an intimate live performance of us playing in a studio. It will be a wonderful experience and I hope you all enjoy it as much as we enjoy playing these songs.”

Both the Blu-Ray and DVD versions include an audio CD of the entire performance which was mixed and mastered by producer Jamie King, who has worked with the band since their 2005 album Alaska. Here’s a clip of “Extremeophile Elite” from the DVD. It was directed by  Justin Reich, who directed Hatebreed’s “Put It To The Torch” and Gideon’s “Bad Blood.”
