Children of Bodom’s “Morrigan” is a Warrior Goddess

With the release of I Worship Chaos just over a week away, Children of Bodom have release a music video for “Morrigan,” a song they released back in July as an audio stream. The band once again worked with director Patric Ullaueus, who has worked with bands like Dimmu Borgir and Arch Enemy, and was filmed just last month.

Said director Ullaueus,

“The last time I worked with COB we did great stuff together. Trashed, Lost and Strungout was Gold awarded and the Chaos Ridden Years Stockholm Knockout Live DVD was also Gold awarded. So after all these years it was a great pleasure to get to do their video again. The band decided not to be in the video. They wanted to tell the story about The Warrior Goddess Morrigan and together with the band we made this tale about a man fighting his inner demons.”

Children of Bodom’s I Worship Chaos comes out October 2nd on Nuclear Blast, their ninth studio album, and first without longtime rhythm guitarist Roope Latvala who has played on all of Bodom’s studio album since 2005’s Are You Dead Yet?
