Thought seeing Dragonforce in an online banking commercial was random? That’s nothing compared to the song Carl’s Jr. recently used in a commercial. The title track from Death Angel’s debut full-length The Ultra-Violence was used in a new commercial for the fast food chain’s Jalapeno Turkey Burger. Granted, commercials using metal as its soundtrack has become somewhat of a trend over the past few years (just ask Judas Priest). Still, we’re likely not the only ones to ever imagine hearing “The Ultra-Violence” in any national ad (let alone one for a turkey burger). Regardless of the commercial’s subject matter, it is pretty cool to see a band like Death Angel get such product placement. Watch the commercial for yourself above.
