Anyone around in the early ’90s remembers Kriss Kross. The Atlanta-area duo, who were 12 and 13, had a massive hit with “Jump Jump” from their debut album, 1992’s Totally Krossed Out, an album that sold 4 million copies. The duo even inspired a mini-trend, with fans wearing their clothes backwards in an imitation of the two. After receiving word that Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly died yesterday at the age of 34, deftones paid tribute to the band by coming out for an encore with their pants on backwards and playing some of “Jump Jump” before going into “Engine No. 9.”
