When we first heard about The Sword’s openers for their forthcoming tour, the main thought that came to mind was “who?” Now we have the answer to at least one of those questions. Eagle Claw, an instrumental (or “instruMETAL,” as their publicist says) band from Texas, will be one of the openers. “Fifth Ring,” the first song from the their sophomore album Timing of the Void, recently debuted via Revolver. It’s a full-on riff assault that brings to mind Karma To Burn, or perhaps an instrumental version of the band they’re opening for. Now, just in time for the tour kickoff and their album release (October 29th and 30th, respectively), Metal Insider is proud to premiere the video for “Fifth Ring.” Read more about the band here, and check out the tour dates after the jump.
