Earlier last month, we were excited to hear the first single “Shipswreck” from the supergroup Legend of the Seagullmen featuring Tool’s Danny Carey (drums), Mastodon’s Brent Hinds (guitar),  along with director Jimmy Hayward (Jonah Hex) on guitar, David ‘The Doctor’ Dreyer (vocals), Zappa Meets Zappa’s Peter Griffin (bass), and Chris DiGiovanni (synth).

The group had their live debut at Primus’ annual New Years Eve show in Oakland California at the Fox Theater over this past weekend and now, there’s fan-filmed footage available. Unfortunately, Hinds was unable to make it to the gig due to a family emergency. The group are gearing up for their self-titled debut which will arrive on February 9th via Dine Alone Records.
