This past weekend, Ghost revealed the next phase of its plans for world domination (or less dramatically: plans for a new album, first with a video teaser followed by releasing a new song). And earlier today, the band played a special warm up show at the Doom nightclub in Linköping, Sweden where they not only performed additional songs off the forthcoming album Meliora, but also gave fans their first real glimpse at Papa Emeritus III and the Nameless Ghouls new masks.

In addition to the recently premiered “Cirice”, Ghost played news songs “From The Pinnacle To The Pit”, “Absolution”, and “Majesty” while playing in the new masks that were shown in the teaser video. While pro footage will likely be released soon, fan filmed footage has (as expected) already made its way online and can be seen above and below. The audio isn’t perfect, but we like what we hear. The other songs may not be has sinister sounding as “Cirice”, but they’re definitely heavy sounding. And though we can’t tell too much of a difference visually between Papa the third and his predecessors, the Nameless Ghouls’ new masks look pretty awesome.

Watch Ghost perform “From The Pinnacle To The Pit” for the first time above, while the other new songs’ live debuts can be seen below.
