Hellyeah have been keeping pretty busy, having just finished their co-headlining tour with Clutch and with their new album Band Of Brothers coming out on July 17. However, a family emergency has reportedly forced guitarist Greg Tribbett to sit out of their shows from May 22 to May 28. Singer Chad Gray (also Tribbett’s bandmate in Mudvayne) offered the following on Greg Tribbett’s short-term absence:

“We all stand with our brother Greg while he tends to personal matters. Our thoughts are with him and his family, and while the shows won’t be the same without him, we will soldier on for our fans and close out this tour in the same kick ass fashion we always do. There’s a lyric in our new song ‘Band of Brothers’ that says ‘I’ve got your back and you’ve got mine,’ and that couldn’t be more true for us right now.”

Pretty fitting that Gray refers to “Band Of Brothers,” since Hellyeah have just released a music video for the title track off their new album. You can watch the music video for “Band Of Brothers” above, while a rundown of dates Tribbett will be missing (leaving Hellyeah to perform as a four piece) can be seen after the jump.
