While much of America doesn’t pay attention to soccer (or football as the rest of the world calls it) unless it’s the World Cup, the European championship is happening right now. Just yesterday, the Icelandic team beat England to move on to the quarter finals. However, last Wednesday, when they defeated Austria to move on, Icelandic announcer Guðmundur Benediktsson was excited about it, like really excited. His screams of delight from last week’s match were set to the music of Icelandic black metal band Misþyrming to make an instant classic. Now let’s see if there’s a remix after yesterday’s win.
