whores. finally put out a full length album last year, and Gold delivered on all fronts. Their tour with Red Fang and Torche found them hanging in with the other bands, who have far more touring experience than them. And while the band’s abrasive and aggressive grooves reminded us a lot of something that would’ve come out on Amphetamine Reptile Records (Melvins, Helmet) back in the day, it turns out that it’s something that’ll be coming out on  Amphetamine Reptile in 2017.

The label is putting out a compilation, Bash 17 with bands including the aforementioned Melvins and Mudhoney as well. whores. have contributed a new song, “Flag Day,” for the comp. The collection’s name is also the name of a show at Grumpys in Minneapolis on July 22nd that will feature  the aforementioned bands, as well as Cherubs Unsane, The Blind Shake and Lydia Lunch.
