“Master Of Puppets” Gets The Funk Mash-Up It Deserves

God bless Metal Sucks. They’ve found the latest mash-up by Australian artist Wax Audio, which takes Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” and marries it to “Doin’ It,” a 1976 track  by jazz/funk artist Herbie Hancock. While on paper, the two artists sound about as compatible as, say, Metallica and Lou Reed (wait a minute), it works surprisingly well. So much so that even Herbie is writing about it. Check it out – and we’ll take the blame for funking up your Thursday afternoon.
