Mastodon and Gojira have toured together before, and you’d think that maybe some bonds between the two bands might develop. With Gojira’s tour with TesseracT kicking off last week and hitting Masto’s home town of Atlanta yesterday (25),  the two bands got a chance to meet up and even jam a little. Ever wonder what it would sound like if Mastodon guitarist Bill Kelliher and Gojira’s drummer Mario Duplantier got together? It happened, and it would’ve gone even better if it wasn’t interrupted by someone. While this was obviously just done for laughs, it would be a pretty amazing collaboration, especially since Mastodon’s Brent and Troy aren’t too shy about extracurricular activities. Brann Dailor isn’t doing anything outside of the band, which might be why he seemed unhappy to find out he was being cheated on.
