It was a very “circle of life” situation last month with female-fronted metal  bands. With Arch Enemy’s Angela Gossow stepping down from the band and The Agonist’s Alissa White-Gluz stepping up to replace her. The Agonist wasted no time in naming their new vocalist, Vicky Psarakis. If you’re a devout Youtube watcher, you might have known who she was from her vocal covers of the likes of Audioslave, Therion, and Nightwish, but beyond that, most have only had the picture of her that the Agonist furnished when they announced she was joining. Now, in a piece called “Music Will Prevail,” you actually get a better look at her. The eight-minute clip shows the band getting ready to record their new album, which is expected to be out in the fall. Additionally, The Agonist will be releasing a digital single called “Disconnect Me” featuring two songs on April 29th.
