Oh Mike Patton, you cheeky bastard you! Faith No More have done their fair share of covers over the years, from the Commodores’ “Easy” to the Nestle theme. So it wasn’t at all out of character for Patton to break into Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” during an encore, effectively rickrollling the crowd. That’s a little bizarre, but nowhere near as strange as the fan that watched them play from backstage, namely Danny DeVito, who took in the band playing “Pills for Breakfast” perched backstage. Then again, it’s not like he’s a stranger to appearing onstage with them. Stay weird, guys.
