With Iron Reagan’s Relapse debut, The Tyranny of the Will out on September 16th, and their tour with Eyehategod starting tonight, the band have just released the first blast of the 24-track album, “Miserable Failure.” In just over two minutes, the band accomplish enough aggression, crossover thrash and riffage than some bands accomplish in an entire album. But don’t take our words for it. Here’s what Tony Foresta has to say about it:

“Miserable Failure” is a Summer Jam unlike the world has ever seen. Oozing sensuality riff after riff, this song will take you into a hard rock crossover vortex of horniness, lust and confusion. You might need ear condoms for this one. I hate writing quotes for songs.”

We hate writing quotes for songs too sometimes. Just listen to the song, and you’ll probably be impressed by it. The album, which was self-produced by the band (which of course includes members of Municipal Waste, Darkest Hour, Cannabis Corpse and Mammoth Grinder) and mixed by Converge’s Kurt Ballou, is available for preorder now, so if you want to get it from the band, do it here, or grab it from Relapse here, where you can get some crazy exclusives like red and black vinyl. Either way, you win.
