Nightwish has a new album on the way titled, Endless Forms Most Beautiful, which is due out March 31st on Nuclear Blast. Today a video has been released for the song, “Élan,” which was filmed in Finland between September and November of 2014, and directed by Ville Lipiäinen.

Said founding member Tuomas Holopainen:

“The long awaited NIGHTWISH music video ‘Élan’ is finally here. Inspired by the untold stories of abandoned places around Finland, the video was nearly a year in the making and features some of the most loved Finnish actors and actresses. And also the legendary NIGHTWISH symbol, a snowy owl (Bubo Scandiaca in Latin) called “Urho” (“Braveheart”).”

Nightwish will embark upon a 27-date tour in the US starting in early April, soon after the March 31st release of Endless Forms Most Beautiful. This will be the first album to feature Dutch vocalist Floor Jansen, who joined the band officially in October of 2013.
