Everybody theorizes about Tool’s newest album and try to come up with reasons why the album is taking already a decade to have any sort of confirmation but the answer has been right in front of us the whole time. We knew this was coming for a while and is natural to have some sort of skepticism, considering his track record with new music but we finally have official word on Maynard James Keenan’s Puscifer new album. Not what you wanted to read, I know.

Puscifer will release their third album titled Money Shot on October 30th and to prove this time we will have new music for real, they also revealed the music video through Rolling Stone for the first single “Grand Canyon” directed by Keenan and it depicts images and footage from, you guessed it, a canyon plus some desert scenery. Keenan discussed about the album:

It’s extremely satisfying to witness simple conversations and ideas transform into completed sonic landscapes. And to have these stories go above and beyond the initial ideas makes my grumpy heart swell three sizes,”

Money Shot will be the follow up release since their 2013 EP Donkey Punch The Night but if you want to create some perspective compared to his other tiny little project called Tool, Puscifer has released their entire discography after Tool’s 10,000 days, which includes singles, EP’s, live and studio albums. Maybe now that this will be out of the way, we can finally get a new Tool album. We can still dream.
