R.I.P. Adam Yauch Of The Beastie Boys

YouTube Preview ImageAs anyone with an Internet connection knows, the Beastie Boys’ Adam Yauch, aka MCA, passed away earlier today at the age of 47 after a battle with cancer. There’s really nothing to say. The trio were one of rap’s best-known bands, but also beloved by fans of any genre. To pay tribute to Yauch, here’s “No Sleep `Til Brooklyn,” which features guitars from Slayer’s Kerry King, who also cameos in the video. King also lent his fretwork on their breakout hit, “(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party).” Also, check out Anthrax covering the Beasties’ “Looking Down the Barrel of a Gun” in 1994, the studio version of which initially appeared on the The Beavis and Butt-head Experience album, after the jump.
