Remember Andy Rehfeldt’s smooth jazz revision of Metallica’s “Enter Sandman”? Well apparently that wasn’t enough for by Bob Kooparos. For some inexplicable reason, this thought popped into his head “Hmm, I wonder what James Hetfield’s voice would sound like over a ska-reggae beat?” Furthermore, he even pondered what a ska version of “No Leaf Clover,” one of the songs they specifically wrote for the S&M album, would sound like. And above is the final result….

Ok, to be fair… the ska version actually works really well. In fact, I have an old college roommate who use to love to skank the night away, and he’d probably love this. So if you like a little reggae rhythm with you up-beat punk, then enjoy! But if you completely despise ska… then by all means, run away right now.
