Today would have been Slipknot bassist Paul Gray’s 39th birthday. To honor his life, which came to a sad end on May 24th of last year, Slipknot and Roadrunner records compiled a clip of an interview with him filmed around the 10th anniversary of the band’s debut album, cut with performance clips. While Gray died of an accidental overdose of morphine and fentanyl, he’d also shown significant signs of heart disease. Slipknot are set to play their first show post-Gray on June 17 at Sonisphere in Athens. Donnie Steele, the band’s original guitarist, will be filling in on bass.
