The Best (Of Me) Ever Video Of The Week: Every Day Is Ratturday

Back For More, Video

So friends of Metal Insider Zena Metal and Metal Sucks’ Vince Neilstein started a trend last year known as Ratturday. It’s a simple enough concept that pretty much involves getting stoned and listening to Ratt on a Saturday. Soon they’ll have a new album to throw into the repertoire, as Infestation, the band’s first album with Stephen Pearcy in 19 years, hits stores on April 20 (4/20 – it makes even more sense now!) on new label Loud and Proud/Roadrunner.

The band’s video for “Best Of Me” finds them picking up where they left off. The video for the song (which sounds a hell of a lot like Diamond Dave-era Van Halen) features the band rocking out, chicks, a concept about kids wanting to watch them and even cameos from the band’s family. Noisecreep is hosting the video, but you can check it out right here. One random observation: Stephen Pearcy was never the best looking dude, so it’s a little creepy to see the 50 year-old making out with a girl. I think I”d rather see the girl make out with an actual rat.
