Torche offer up a pretty somber, dystopian music video for their song “Annihilation Affair,” taken from their latest album, Restarter, available now on Relapse Records.

The video is based around the video game that was made to promote the new record; Torche vs. Robots: Annihilation Affair. It’s a side-scrolling, 16-bit looking adventure game that the band put out to promote Restarter, and was a fun way to get the song stuck in your head. And if the vibe of the video seems a bit familiar, that’s because it was done by the amazing Phil Mucci, who also did High on Fire’s “Fertile Green” and Pig Destroyer’s “The Diplomat,” two similar looking videos.

Torche is wrapping up their tour with Nothing and Wrong in the next few days, but will be heading back out with Melt Banana in July.
