Earlier this year, we saw the latest entry into the late night wars, as fictional metal talk show Two Minutes To Late Night entered the fray. While the first entry was filmed at Saint Vitus Bar and had the actual feel of a late night show, host Gwarsenio Hall (Jordan Olds) took a cue from the Late Late Show with James Corden‘s wildly popular “carpool karaoke” segement, which finds the host singing along in cars with famous people. Allegedly shot at Riot Fest Denver where the Misfits reunited for the first time in “2000 years,” according to Hall, it features appearances from tons of bands, including members of Converge, Murder by Death, High Waisted, Sleigh Bells and Tigers Jaw. There are backflips, there are accidents, there’s even a wedding. There’s also a valuable lesson to be learned: don’t leave your Murder by Death in a car with the windows up.
