YouTube Preview ImageWe’ve been meaning to post Born of Osiris’ cover of System of a Down’s “Science” for a few days now. It’s pretty cool in that it’s just updated/djenty enough to not sound like the original. It’s a little weird to see a lyric video for a cover, though. Also, it makes us feel a little old to know that the album the original was on, System of a Down’s first, will turn 14 years old on Saturday. While we’re posting covers, we might as well bring you the In Fear and Faith’s cover of Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean.” Actually, their acoustic cover of Jacko’s song sounds a lot more like they looked to Chris Cornell’s stark version of the song. If you like the original song and/or cabaret music, you’re in luck.
