Here’s another reason why Norway is awesome. In America, when bands play TV shows, it’s usually a middle of the road act like Taylor Swift or Bruno Mars. Last week, Enslaved played a TV show in Norway. I don’t know what show it was, but they covered Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song” and absolutely killed it. It starts out respectful to the original, but with a decidedly black metal edge. Then around mid-song, it takes an Opeth-ian turn for the awesomer. The band have been playing it live for a year, but this HD version is the best one yet.
