It’s likely been a while since you’ve thought of Local H, if you even remember them. The Chicago-area duo have been around since 1987, and are probably best known for their song “Bound For the Floor,” from 1996′s As Good As Dead. At any rate, the pair, which consists of singer/guitarist Scott Lucas and drummer Brian St. Clair, just released their seventh album, Hallelujah! I’m a Bum. Of note is that the record was produced by Chicago uber-producer and musician Sanford Parker. You’re not going to mistake this for a Nachtmystium or Twilight album (both of whom Parker has produced and played in), however. It’s more like a straight ahead, fun, Queens of the Stone Age-like album. Check out the first video, “Cold Manor,” which features the band playing in Parker’s studio.
