Earlier this month (June 2 to be exact), the nine annual Drum Fight competition and expo took place  at Revolution (formerly Ollie’s Point) in Amityville, New York. One of the highlights from the event came when judges Mike Portnoy and Bill Rymer faced off in a “drum battle.” And now fan filmed footage of the ex-Dream Theater drummer’s drum off with The Dillinger Escape Plan’s drummer has made its way online. If you’re a fan of either Portnoy or Rymer and their bands, or just a lover of all things drums, then you should definitely watch the video above now.
