The video for Order of Israfel’s “On Black Wings, A Demon,” which we’re premiering today, lives up it’s title. Starkly shot in black and white, the band is shown playing alongside a narrative that features a demon-like child character, sword in hand, walking through a winter landscape, facing off against an unknown assailant. Taken from the  band’s debut album, Wisdom, the song is perhaps the most upbeat song on the album, one that Angry Metal Guy said “makes me want to swig cheap booze and toss someone through a window.” Given that the band is a side project between members of Church of Misery and Doomdogs, you can understand why the rest of the album contains more epic doom.

Wisdom is out now on Napalm Records. You can pick it up here.
