What do you get when you have access to the Gothenberg Natural History Museum? If you’re The Unguided, apparently, a video with some pretty creepy and unsettling footage of animals that also has a message. Performing with a mastodon in the background (the elephant, not the band), the Swedish band’s song title might find you wondering what a thylacine is. It turns out that it was a carnivorous marsupial. We say “was” because they’re extinct now. That point is hammered home at the end of the video, which should may make some give pause to how they treat animals.

This is drawing the Fragile Immortality album cycle to a close, as The Unguided have an EP coming out on Monday with two new tracks that will give fans a sneak peek of what to expect when their third album is released in 2015. Needless to say, if you were a Sonic Syndicate fan, you’ll be on board, as the band features four former members.
