Hard rockers Valhalla Lights are gearing up to release their album My Gracious Highway on April 6th. Today (15th), we are honored to premiere their video for the song “Opposite Sides.” The group consists of members from the Australian stoner rock group Fort with George Christie (guitar), Brent “Badger” Crysell (bass), and Deon Driver (drums) as well as Ange Saul (vocals).

The band comes from the township of Byron Bay on the East Coast of Australia, which is a small surfing community and a place that is at the center of an extinct volcano. The area is known for its natural fresh air, rich soil, and dramatic landscape, which means their melodic rock tunes could be described as volcanic rock.

The group shared the following comment about the new video, which prominently features a little person and the band in drag:

“This is a song that will resonate for people touched by the hardship of a broken relationship and the carry over effect into all facets of life. It is a short story that everyone can relate to, and is a tongue in cheek portrayal of love, booze, rock’n’roll and everything in between. I mean let’s face it, who hasn’t been betrayed by a dwarf that cheated on you with a bunch of transvestites who also happen to play in the same band as you?  Every day kinda stuff.”
