German quartet We Butter the Bread With Butter are more than just a quirky name. While the most obvious comparison is to fellow Krauts Rammstein, the young band definitely sound somewhat different, despite both bands’ use of their native tongue in their music. Following the band’s Project Herz EP (which featured the “1000 Volt” video we premiered), their first full length to be released in America, Goldkinder, will come out on August 13th.

On that front, the band have released a video for “Alles Wa Ich Will,” the album’s first single, via Crave Online. The trippy video makes the band look like a cross between Rammstein and early Mudvayne, but even without the guttural vocals in the verse, the song sounds distinctly German. Check it out, and if you like what you hear, there’s another song from the album you can check out, and you can preorder the album here. The band’s first U.S. tour run will occur in September.
