New Music, Video

As we detailed last week, Volbeat will be releasing a new album in April. Outlaw Gentlemen and Shady Ladies will be out in April, and today the album’s first track, “Cape of Our Hero,” was released. While the band has Rob Caggiano in it now, and the album will feature King Diamond on a track, the first single, “Cape Of Our Hero,” is about as commercial as they come. While a lot of metal fans love Volbeat, and have helped propel their last album Beyond Hell/Above Heaven upwards of 200,000 in sales, if the whole album sounds like this, they might not stick around for a second go-round.

Outlaw Gentlemen and Shady Ladies will be released on April 9.
