Remember when Iwrestledabearonce said they were going black metal and posted a photo of them in corpsepaint? We all had a good laugh, and then the band put out another album of their near uncategorizable heavy music. Last month, they released “Erase it All,” the first taste of their fourth full-length album, Hail Mary. Today the band released another track from the album, “Wade in the Water.” Given that “Erase It All” featured Suicide Silence’s Eddie Hermida, this song continues to instill a deathcore sound that remains considerably less goofy than they have in the past. Could this be a totally new direction from a band that seemed to pride itself on its zaniness?  Guess we’ll have to wait to find out when Hail Mary comes out on June 16th on Artery Recordings.
