At 90 degrees, it sure is a scorcher today here in the NYC area. But the single ‘All That May Bleed’ from Swedish black metal group Watain is straight out of the grim and frostbitten lands of the north. The single comes from Watain’s upcoming album The Wild Hunt, which is due out on August 20th from the band’s new label Century Media.

According to Watain:

“‘All That May Bleed‘ shows but one facet of a quite diverse album, but we chose this song as a first glimpse into ‘The Wild Hunt’ because of its bombastic lunacy and white-eyed malevolence which could be said to constitute a main foundation for the album. The lyric is an invitation to sacrificial blood letting, ecstatic zealotry and human sacrifice. The salt of Satan in the wounds of Christ!”

Metal Insider already got a chance to hear the album and discuss it with band frontman Erik Danielsson, but for everyone else, the lyric video will have to keep you kvlt until the album drops in August.
