Given that Black Label Society’s Zakk Wylde is no stranger to playing arena, it would make sense that the Chicago Bulls invited him to play the National Anthem at last night’s game as the band faced the Toronto Raptors in Chicago at the United Center. The axeman, who’s Grimmest Hits will be out on January 19th, did an admirable job that probably reminded older fans of Jimi Hendrix’s version and made most attendees under 20 say “what’s that stick that man’s holding that’s making noise?”
